Someone is waiting for you, did you know?

Someone is waiting for you, did you know?

I’ll never forget Esteban Pérez, a schoolmate from high school in my beloved Argentina. Now I know that God placed this young man in my path… otherwise, I would have succeeded in committing suicide. Now I know that I’m a debtor unto God first, but also to the task of evangelizing those whose heart God has prepared and are waiting for me. I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that Esteban knew that someone like me was waiting for him at that unique appointment, which would change the destiny that death had for me due to the depression and pain in my heart because of life’s hardships and blows.

Jesus changed all that pain in my soul for a marvelous life of freedom! Afterward, he gave me my wife, Sussy, and my children Stephanie and Allan Ojeda.

So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” (2 Corinthians 5:20 NLT)

When we start looking back through our recollections, we will all see the beautiful memory of a face… the face of that person that waited for us with a mission, to present to us the Gospel of Christ. You remember it right? The Bible shows us over and over again the people that were reached by God with a mission so that later they too would reach out to others.

Let’s see together some biblical examples that will help us retake the task of evangelizing others.

Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all. (Acts 2:41-42 NLT)

And every day, in the Temple and from house to house, they continued to teach and preach this message: “Jesus is the Messiah.” (Acts 5:42 NLT)

It’s worth mentioning that all these people came to know Jesus because those that had believed first were in the right place: in “the field of evangelism.”

Are you ready to be part of “Invasion of God’s love?” It’s not the task of just one, but of all.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 NLT)

Here we find an expression that’s key from the Lord Jesus unto His church: “Teach these new disciples to obey…”, this means that for there to be converts, there needs to be people who have already had a personal encounter with Jesus and who love the task of sharing with others the powerful gospel of our Lord. Sharing with their friends, family members and friends what Jesus did in them.

Someone was waiting for them:

1) The Ethiopian man was waiting for Phillip (Acts 8:30-31).

Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet Isaiah. Philip asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?”

31 The man replied, “How can I, unless someone instructs me?” And he urged Philip to come up into the carriage and sit with him.

2) Cornelius, his family members and his neighbors were waiting for Peter.

They arrived in Caesarea the following day. Cornelius was waiting for them and had called together his relatives and close friends. (Acts 10:24 NLT)

3) The man from Macedonia was waiting for Paul.

That night Paul had a vision: A man from Macedonia in northern Greece was standing there, pleading with him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!” 10 So we decided to leave for Macedonia at once, having concluded that God was calling us to preach the Good News there. (Acts 16:9-10 NLT)

My dear brethren in Christ, perhaps no one took the time to teach you, but when a Christian stops preaching and winning souls for Christ, is a sign that they’re falling asleep spiritually or perhaps they’re already spiritually dead. It’s not enough with just knowing the Lord and congregating, that’s not the Gospel of Christ for which He died and rose again.

Let’s remember what the Apostle Paul tells us:

Yet preaching the Good News is not something I can boast about. I am compelled by God to do it. How terrible for me if I didn’t preach the Good News! (1 Corinthians 9:16 NLT)

Pray to the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, asking the Holy Spirit for help so He can guide you to the person you will preach to. Don’t let another day pass without making known the Glory of Christ that dwells in your heart. Look for a neighbor right now in order to present Jesus to them and afterward take them to your local church.

Remember: Someone is waiting for you!

Have a heavenly week. I bless you in your body, soul and spirit so you can be free, healed, in fullness, prosperous, and win many souls for Christ.

Bear hugs to all!
